  1. Shut off the water at the mains tap (usually at the front of the property near the meter).
  2. Turn off the power to any circuits near the water (at the switchboard) if flooding is near electricals.
  3. For gas leaks — don't use switches or flames, open windows, turn off the gas meter, leave the property, then call us.
  4. Photograph damage for insurance before cleaning up.
